WOMEN’S FESTIVAL FASHION
It’s finally festival season, and our first stop at this time of year is always festival fashion: looking for practicality and comfort, without sacrificing style.
Starting with the necessities, waterproofs are of course an absolute MUST for festival season. There’s nothing worse than standing all afternoon waiting for your favourite band to start, making sure to save yourselves a good spot, only to be caught unprepared in a sudden downpour. Instead of making your way back to base camp to keep dry in your tent, we’re recommending our new Dawson jacket. Dawson is both waterproof and breathable, so it has all the benefits of practicality, as well as maintaining a stylish and flattering silhouette, meaning your festival look will still be on point for the weekend at all times, no matter what the weather brings.
Layering is definitely key at festivals, because despite the British weather’s tendency to rain down upon us, you never know when that sunshine will peep out from behind the clouds. And, of course, all that dancing can break you out in a sweat too! Keep cool in our Harome tees, complete with a peach finish for ultimate softness and comfort. You can’t improve on a classic, and we’re still hailing the classic stripe, so layer up with our lightweight Hicks sweater when the cool evening arrives. You’ll never be caught out with a good layering system!
As for footwear, we’re giving wellies the cold shoulder. Wellies are fine when it comes to mud, but if the weather starts looking up, you can end up in a sweaty-feet-situation. Instead, get the best of both worlds with a fashion-forward walking boot. Our new collection consists of three different styles: Ingleborough, Whernside, and Penyghent (named after the Yorkshire three peaks, of course). Find the TOG24 boot that’s suits your style! Perfect for those hazy, sunshine filled festival days spent in the fields this Summer.
