Voted one of the top inventions of the last 100 years by Time Magazine, Polartec® Classic® fabric is a very breathable, quick drying and non-pill fleece material. Wearing a Polartec® Classic® fleece underneath your waterproof enhances the breathability of the garment.
Polartec® Classic® fabrics are available in a range of weights to provide the right level of insulation for most outdoor activities. Polartec® Classic 100 weight fabrics are the lightest and are excellent for a warm first layer or lightweight sweater. Polartec® Classic 300 fabrics are the heaviest and provide a warm thermal layer for very cold outdoor activities. Halfway in between are Polartec® Classic 200 weight fabrics, providing outstanding warmth and versatility.
POLARTEC® Windbloc®
Polartec® Windbloc® blocks 100% of the wind and offers maximum protection from the cold and the elements- with a soft hand and durable water repellent finish for outstanding comfort and performance. It is also highly durable, quiet and non-pilling- and provides warmth without weight and bulk. Polartec® Windbloc® fabric is ideal for cold weather conditions where high performance outer protection is needed.
POLARTEC® Powerdry®
An ideal base layer, whether you are skiing or walking. This fabric keeps you dry and comfortable by wicking moisture away from the body. It also has an anti-bacterial finish to prevent odour.
POLARTEC® Powerstretch®
Very breathable, warm, lightweight fabric from Malden Mills. Used primarily in fitted garments to take advantage of it's 4 way stretch. It can be used a base or mid layer.
POLARTEC® Powershield®
The next generation of technical outwear - the soft shell.
