Lovely waterproof jacket, but pricey

"I got this coat in the sale along with the 'coat swap' offer, which made it excellent value for money. The coat is very lightweight but well made, and seems fully waterproof so far whilst out dog walking in the rain. The longer length means your legs don't get wet, and the draw string waist makes it a flattering shape. It's true to size but I sized up to enable wearing jumpers underneath in the winter. It's probably a summer jacket really as it's quite thin, but I'll use it in the spring and autumn to with layers underneath. The hood is a good fit with draw strings to keep it snug in the wind. No inside pockets, but two good sized ones on the outside. It's a pretty colour in the dusky pink and I've also bought it in blue. I've only taken a star off as I would consider this very expensive for what's basically a pac-a-mac at the full price of £100. Glad I only paid £35, which I feel is about right."

"Only 3 star as size measured 11 inches bigger than size guide. Returned and purchased 2 sizes smaller and had postage refunded but it was a hassle I did not need. Product looks and feel good though haven’t tried in all weather yet."

I am going on holiday to where it is going to be hot 30-35 degrees but it is also going to be wet. Will this jacket keep me dry without sweltering in the heat?
