Faulty returns not handled at all well

"Sadly my second, should have been identical, pair of these joggers were faulty. Cut like hipsters so sat well below my waist. When I bent over or sat down great expanses of my knickers was exposed. Customer services were initially very helpful and sent a link to print out a returns label. I had requested a replacement pair. A few days after returning I received an email notification of a refund minus the cost of return postage ☹️ cheap skate! Was it worth losing a long standing customer for good? I purchased a replacement pair elsewhere. Your policy needs reviewing! ☹️"

Hi, I have three pairs of these in navy and two of the oatmeal grey. I bought them all this year. I have only been wearing the navy ones so far, they are just what I've been looking for and find them so comfortable. The only problem is when I washed them according to the instructions on label, all three pairs are badly pilled and bobbled.
