"Ordered my usual size and had to return as was a bit neat - wouldn't have got a jumper on under it. Returned and ordered a bigger size which fits great. Sizes are a bit all iver the place as I wear a size 12 top and fleeces yet the 14 was too small in this and had to go up again to a 16"

Can you provide the waterproof rating in the standard way this is measured. 5/5 is not a standard waterproof rating
Thank you for your question. All our waterproofs have a performance level which indicates exactly how waterproof the garment is a how much protection it will offer the wearer. We use a Hydrostatic Head to test our waterproofs. This measures how tall a 1" diameter column of water the fabric can hold before it starts to seep through the fabric. The higher the rating the more pressure the fabric can withstand before leaking. For example if our jacket is 10,000mm (10K), so it can withstand the pressure of 10 meters of water before starting to leak. 10K is classed as very waterproof and is suitable for heavy rain. In addition to waterproof ratings, we also have breathability ratings. This is measured by how many grams of water vapor (i.e. sweat) can pass through a square meter of fabric during 24 hours. The higher the number the more water vapor can pass through the fabric and escape. 10K is classed as very breathable and is suitable for moderate activity.
