Material composition change

"Beware - all change! The website used to say the material composition was "60% cotton and 40% polyester". That was until I brought the matter to their attention. The garment I received had a label which stated "50% cotton and 50% polyester". Previous garments I still have say "58% cotton and 42% polyester". Why does this matter? Well apart from the inforamtion being wrong, the hoody now has a shiny feel and the prevouis quality cotton mix is not so evident. It also has a much tighter fit than the previous version. Customer services, via their Head of Product and Design, informed me that: "We switched the fabric composition on this item as we have been steadily introducing more sustainable cotton into our range as a deliberate effort to be more environmentally conscious. " The material composition was changed in Autumn 2025. What a shame, it used to be a wonderful product in the Tog24 hoody family."

I haven’t had the hoody

"I haven’t had the hoody long it seems good quality and fits well. The only grudge is that the inner lining once you wear it and take it off your body you get lots of fluffy bits sticking to your clothing underneath the hoody. I suppose once you wash it hopefully that won’t happen?"
