Mail order - a poor experience!

"Pretty poor actually. A used 'return' pair of shoes were supplied which were clearly faulty. Returned for a full refund with apologies - the company responded very quickly give them their due. Would make me hesitant to buy anything else via mail order from the company. . ."

Disappointed

"Used them in the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District could feel the stones through the soles and the front part of the sole came away during the walk ! Not fit for purpose. Only did five walks each one on average 20km. Will never buy TOG 24 footwear again. I have experienced the same with Tresspass and Regatta and will treat them the same. I had a pair of Aldbergs for 7 years so its not the way I walk."

Comfortable and lightweight, haven’t had

"Comfortable and lightweight, haven’t had them in wet weather yet but hoping they’re resilient to the water."

Were these things ever £120? Honestly?

"Were these things ever £120? Really? mmmmm . . . . I like what they look like and at £35 of course they're ok for poncing around. But for walking/hiking? On our stoney Scottish tracks they're cr*p. I can feel almost every stone beneath my feet - all a thousand miles away from my faithful old Merrells. So No, No Thanks - I'd say it's no wonder tog24 is clearing them out! And I felt tog24 did pretty poorly all-in-all. Mine arrived sized-wrong and I don't THINK that was me - if so it's a first. But tog24 weren't exactly helpful over their subsequent availability or their refund. So all-in-all I think that's probably me done as a tog24 customer."

Didn’t last 6 months!

"Bought these shoes as a summer alternative to my excellent Tog24 leather walking boots. However, after less than 6 months the sole is coming away from the uppers. I’ve used them merely for daily dog walks over the dry (and mud-free) summer. I may have been unlucky with my pair, but I cannot recommend these shoes."

"Comfortable, and a great fit. Prefer them to my NB trainers which were three times the price."
