Perfect for begginer

"I'm 5ft 2 and the length is perfect. I'm skiing at the end of the season when it's fairly warm, so I can't speak to how warm they'd be in sub zero temperatures. The fabric is like a softshell jacket, kept me dry when I fell over! For me, the waist was still to big even with the velcro pulled tight. But fit well through the hips and thighs and handy belt loops meant adjusting the waist fit wasn't an issue. Overall, have lasted the week and will be wearing them again next season."
