This is the second coat

"This is the second coat I have purchased. As I was so happy with the first one. Lovely and warm and looks good to. Had a slight problem with my order but customer service was second to none. The lady I spoke to was lovely and sorted the problem within minutes"

I’m comparing this coat to

"I’m comparing this coat to the women’s Raleigh long insulated jacket. I prefer the length of the Kirkham, being a little shorter makes this easier to wear in and out of the car. I also prefer the adjustable waist, you can pull it in a little to give you a good shape or just stop any drafts. I don’t like that the Kirkham doesn’t have cuffs to stop the wind blowing up your sleeves. I think the sleeves are shorter too. It feels lighter in warmth to me and in actual weight. The hood on both are good when it’s really cold or wet to keep you snug. I’d love to know if Tog24 makes a coat that combines my wishes to get a coat that is 100% right for me. As part of my job I am standing outside in all weathers for either 30 minutes or an hour at a time. I am a very cold person and look for extra warmth without too much bulk as I like to layer. I bought both while in the sale (different years) and find the coats great value at those prices."

Very happy with my new

"Very happy with my new coat, I've been needing something warm, but also flexible as I have a new baby and this was perfect! Brilliant against wind too as its chilly where I am on the north east coast!"

Fits good. Nice length. True

"Fits good. Nice length. True to size. Good basic coat. Not shiny. Would rather have press studs over Velcro but that’s the only criticism"

I’m really delighted with my

"I’m really delighted with my new coat, bought as a replacement for my old Tog 24 coat. It fits well and is stylish, waterproof and really warm. The hood fits well and it was in the half price sale. Brilliant purchase."

Love my new coat! I’m

"Love my new coat! I’m a size 8, and the size 8 fits me perfectly. Very good quality, and nice to have the Velcro flap to cover the zip. Great colour (dark indigo) as it goes with everything. I bought it in the sale so very happy with the price. Swift delivery too. Delighted!"

I wanted this jacket so bad. . .

"I wanted this jacket so bad but unfortunately I've been really disappointed when it arrived. The length is perfect, the colour - navy - is a nice dark navy which I really like but unfortunately the zip is very hard to fasten - unless is totally aligned (it's a real struggle) and the size is much too big. The site suggestion is to get a size bigger. I have got it in the size 16 which is my size and it's much too big. The jacket is shapeless. Even if there are some elastic strings inside, you can only adjust the linen but you cannot give any shape to the jacket. So, I'm afraid I will have to return it. Probably a 14 will be too tight on my hips but will fit better on my shoulders (I will never know it unless I try it!). So disappointed 😞The size table is not correct."

I bought a TOG24 jacket

"I bought a TOG24 jacket about 15 years ago and loved it , I have worn it every winter a lot and it washed really well. Thought it about time I treated myself to a new one. Really pleased with this one and luckily bought it in the sale. Very satisfied and a good swift delivery service."

Great coat

"Very happy with this coat, warm but not bulky. Great fit and a good length. I've worn it a lot since I purchased it. It's been ideal for the recent cold and wet weather. Looks dressy so can be worn on lots of different types of occasions. Bought a similar navy one a few years ago, love it too!"

Q&A

The washing instructions say not to tumble dry but how do you stop the padding for clumping?
Hello, Thank you for contacting us regarding your down jacket. Please find below the aftercare instructions for our down products: Cleaning: · Empty the pockets and brush down the jacket to remove any loose debris or dirt · Ensure the detergent compartment is thoroughly cleaned as any detergent residue could damage or stain the jacket · Add one 50ml capful per garment of your selected down wash · Wash on a full cycle at 30° or according to care label instructions Drying with a Tumble Dryer: · Remove the jacket from the wash and squeeze out any excess water · Place the damp jacket into a low temperature tumble dryer, dryer balls can be added to help fluff out the down · Remove the jacket every 15 minutes and fluff by hand, before repeating the drying process. This will need to be done several times · Your jacket may require some manual teasing of the down and a good shake to ensure it is fully revived · Don’t pack your jacket away while it is still damp, or it will start to smell You do not need to wash your jacket again. To distribute and restore the down loft it will need a good shake and longer in the tumble drier on a low heat. You may need to manually move some of the down and tease apart the balled up down. If you have drier or tennis balls, these can be added to aid distribution. Drying without a Tumble Dryer: · Remove the jacket from the wash and squeeze out any excess water. · Hang the jacket in a cool, dry place, avoiding direct heat such as a radiator or airing cupboard as this can damage the fibres · Every 30 minutes, remove the jacket from the hanger and give it a vigorous shake. Then gently massage the jacket using your fingers to separate any feathers that are clumping together · Continue to manually tease until the jacket is dry · Don’t pack your jacket away while it is still damp, or it will start to smell Please find our Grangers cleaning range at - https://www.tog24.com/collections/accessories-other
