"This jacket is as hard as Sean Beans character Sharpe, it's the kind of jacket Norman 'bites yer legs' Hunter could have worn as he slid,exocet missile like towards the oppositions forward at Elland Road,the forward would have been crocked, but this jacket would have still been in the game, it's that hard. There is a softer side to this jacket though,take the pockets,I'm quite sure if Arthur Wood had,had this jacket he would not have been able to take his hands from the warmth and comfort of the pockets long enough to compose his most famous piece,leaving the world a much more sadder place for it. Is this jacket versatile? Look at the detachable hood, you could wear this jacket down a Yorkshire tea mine,stick your pick into the tea leaf seam, detach the hood from the jacket,catch the tea leaves in it, pour some boiling water into the hood and make yourself a proper brew to have with your snap,then with the shift over you could re-attach the hood, wear the jacket into the pit head showers and it would come out looking good enough for a night out at Riley-Smith Hall. The detachable thermal liner is ribbed like a washboard and although it's nowhere near as stiff as one I'm quite sure given some steel thimbles I might be able to play a passable version of "Ilkley Moor bar t'at" without damaging it. Alas, me being a southern softie I will just have to rely on my memories of what it would be like to put this handsome jacket through its paces in Gods' own county as I shuffle around the local park on another warm and balmy winters day. In closing buy one of these jackets because they make you feel as if someone cares about your wellbeing and that makes the world feel like a warmer, happier place."

"Having purchased this jacket quite some time ago, I have worn it almost constantly on my outdoor activities, photography, walking the dog…. there’s a constant almost every day ! So no shame to it, eventually the zip gave up through wear and tear.
