The best Non-Christmas Christmas jumpers (for men, women and kids)

Here at TOG24, we know the whole Christmas jumper thing isn’t for everyone. The flashing snowmen, the dodgy reindeer, the jumpers that play carols every time you move - they’re great for a laugh, but not exactly something most folk are queueing up to wear.

Still, when Christmas Jumper Day or those office parties roll around, you don’t want to be the one sitting it out. Luckily, this December there’s no need to be a scrooge with our fantastic collection of non-Christmas Christmas jumpers!

These are cosy, winter-ready Christmas jumper alternatives - smart enough for the office, comfy enough for the pub. And best of all, you’ll actually reach for these all winter long, not just shove them to the back of your wardrobe come Boxing Day.

Our top men's non-Christmas Christmas jumpers

Why settle for a jumper you’ll only wear once a year? Our favourite men’s non-Christmas Christmas jumpers are cosy, stylish, and built to be part of your winter wardrobe long after December 25th!

Michael men's knitted jumper

A proper classic with a subtle festive twist. The Fair Isle-inspired pattern across the chest gives cosy winter vibes - festive without going overboard. It’s smart enough for the office, comfy for chilling at home, and chunky enough to keep you warm when this month’s heating bill makes you wince. Pair it with jeans for a relaxed look or trousers for Christmas party karaoke with Sandra. It’s the perfect jumper for anyone who wants to celebrate in style, not in novelty.

Haxwell men’s sherpa fleece

Sometimes the best Christmas jumper isn’t a jumper - it’s a fleece. The Haxwell sherpa fleece adds character to your winter wardrobe. The abstract mountain print in deep forest green gives serious Christmas tree vibes - without decking you out in tinsel and dodgy decorations. Soft, snug, and fir real cosy (sorry!), this Sherpa fleece is perfect for wrapping up by the fire, braving a winter walk, or pretending you didn’t just get caught under the mistletoe with someone from marketing!

Cameron men’s sherpa fleece

Sometimes simple is best, and the Cameron sherpa fleece proves it. That warm cloud colour is snow joke when it comes to festive style. It’s wintery, fresh, and pairs beautifully with darker trousers for a subtle Christmas-y contrast. The fleece is perfect for those in-between days when a jacket feels like overkill, but going without would leave you feeling frosty. Soft as anything, it’s ready to jingle all the way through Christmas Jumper Day… and well beyond. Just don’t be elf-conscious if everyone else is still in novelty jumpers!

Our top women's non-Christmas Christmas jumpers

Cosy, stylish, and ready to sleigh - these jumpers let you join the festive fun without going overboard. Perfect for twirling through Christmas parties, curling up with hot chocolate, or just looking fabulous while staying warm all winter long.

Tamara women's knitted jumper

The Tamara jumper is absolutely brilliant for Christmas Jumper Day. That gorgeous Fair Isle pattern across the chest and sleeves brings all the cosy winter vibes (frosty mornings, snow-dusted hills, and sleigh-fulls of festive cheer) without a single reindeer or bauble in sight. From fa-la-la-la-laughing through work Christmas drinks to sipping something spiced by the fire, this chunky knit keeps you toasty all the way. Dress it up or down - you’ll be holly-jolly chic and subtly festive all December long!

Firan women’s fleece

The Firan fleece is perfect if you want a winter layer with a bit of sparkle. The pebble print has a frosty, fairy light vibe which is perfect for keeping your festive style subtle but merry. Soft, cosy, and warm, it’s perfect for frosty walks, daft Secret Santa shenanigans, or nursing the hangover from your bosses “genius” mulled wine marathon team-building session. Zip it up or down to keep comfy while navigating the chaos of December… and still look stylish while doing it!

Sara women's sherpa fleece

This one's a bit of a festive genius, so before you say "camo isn't Christmassy," just hear us out. Those rich burgundy and pink tones mixed with cream patches? They’re like camouflage for Christmas parties - you'll blend right in with the festive crowd while staying ridiculously cosy. The sherpa fabric is so soft you might actually refuse to take it off (don't say we didn't warn you), and the abstract pattern means you can wear it well into January without anyone side-eyeing you for still wearing your "Christmas jumper." Plus, burgundy is basically mulled wine colour, and what's more festive than that?

Our top kids' non-Christmas Christmas jumpers

If your little one’s already asking you “when is it Christmas Jumper Day?”, these cosy layers mean they can get festive straight away - without the novelty overload. Soft, warm, and built to survive playground chaos, our fav kids’ non-Christmas Christmas jumpers are perfect for festive fun now, and long past the holidays.

Damara kids' Shaun the Sheep sherpa gilet

For the little ones, this Shaun the Sheep sherpa gilet is an absolute winner. It's festive in spirit (thanks to our woolly friend Shaun), but not Christmas-specific - meaning they'll actually want to wear it after the holidays are over. The fresh snowy white and contrast ocean blue keeps things merry and bright, while the gilet style is perfect for busy kids who run around like headless sheep but still need their cores snug and warm. Plus, it's Shaun the Sheep - what's not to love?

Toffolo kids' fleece

The Toffolo fleece is leaf-ing the competition behind this Christmas! The oak leaf print is subtly festive, so your little ones can join in on Christmas Jumper Day without going full Santa-and-snowflakes mode - but it’s also stylish enough to wear well into spring, long after the tinsel has been packed away. Soft, toasty, and tough enough to survive snowball battles, playground chaos, and festive mischief, it’ll keep them cosy and warm while they dash through December.

How to fold a jumper (so it actually stays folded!)

Right, you've got your lovely new jumper - now how do you keep it looking good? Knowing how to fold a jumper properly makes all the difference, especially with knits that can stretch out of shape if you're not careful. Here's the right way to do it:

  1. Lay it flat, front-side down - smooth out any wrinkles with your hands.
  2. Fold one sleeve across - bring it diagonally toward the opposite hem, so the cuff sits near the bottom edge.
  3. Repeat with the other sleeve - you should now have a neat rectangle.
  4. Fold in half from bottom to top - or in thirds if it's a chunky knit.
  5. Store flat in a drawer - never hang knitted jumpers, as they'll stretch and lose their shape over time.

Sherpa fleeces and sweatshirts are more forgiving and you can get away with hanging them on wide-shouldered hangers - but knits should always be folded and stored flat. Your jumpers will thank you.
