"Love this coat, it’s like wearing a duvet out. It very light but so warm and cosy, I can wear less under it so don’t feel stuffed as when you have loads of layers. "This is a lovely warm coat and I like the length, I am 5ft8 and its calf length. I am debating whether to return it as the fit seems a little off. Its quite broad in the shoulders and chest but I suppose I'd rather it be roomy than tight. And the hood seems a bit too big...a wooly bobble hat would fit inside easily, when also worn. I will probably keep it and make peace with bulky shoulders cos it is super snug and I can hear a storm brewing outside and I want to be wrapped up in weather like that. Worried if I sized down it would be too snug, but the proportions are a bit odd. Its so very lovely and cosy though."

"This has a good weight to it and the hood fits very well, not over large. Love the length, I am 5”3 and comes mid shin. Is roomy enough to wear thicker pulli. Would have liked the hood to be detachable as when not use it doesn’t sit very flat. An inside pocket would have been nice for a phone or keys. Overall pleased with my purchase, has kept me warm and dry in recent awful weather."

Anyone know if uts waterproof? As doesn't say on write up?

Due to the stitching on the baffles (segments containing the down or thermal fill) of this jacket it is not waterproof as water will be able to get in through these stitching holes. The main feature of these jackets is that they are incredibly warm but they will need a further waterproof layer on top to fully protect against these elements. The jackets have a DWR water repellent coating as standard, but this will not withstand anything above a short, light shower.
