Baffled?
Heat sealed baffle jackets give you very good protection from the rain and wind. With heat sealed seams - not stitched - water is unable to enter through these areas, meaning you stay better protected with a higher level of rain protection. These jackets aren't completely waterproof in heavy rain but do the job in light showers and colder weather.
The baffles keep you warm when it's chilly and breezy. They are the spaces between both layers of the coats fabric which hold the recycled down fill.
Both of these features combine to make a water-resistant jacket that's warm and durable when out and about.
